Victor Chu

PT, DPT

Victor graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology in 2011. He received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Georgia State University in 2016 and went on to complete his orthopedic residency through PT Solutions in 2018. Victor has served in leadership roles including Clinic Director for PT Solutions.

Victor has worked closely with the Buford School of Ballet and was recruited by the Atlanta Braves as a Breakdancer for the entertainment shows. Victor also works as a videographer specializing in patient education platforms for healthcare practitioners.

Clinically, Victor specializes in fixing the cause of pain rather than the symptom. He believes that once you understand the origin of the pain, it is important to understand the how and why of each step of the treatment process to help guide your recovery to getting you beyond feeling better to being great. As a dancer, he has a passion for understanding the biomechanics and compensatory patterns of each individual during everyday functional movements. Victor has experience treating many complex cases ranging from neuropathic to muscular and takes a holistic treatment- based approach with every patient. He thoroughly enjoys patient education and makes sure you feel confident in your understanding of progress and improvement. With a manual therapy focused background, he is certified in dry needling and manipulations along with various other techniques to help change the pain cycle while improving motor control to construct your road to a new normal. “

“Physical therapy is only one of my many passions. When I am not treating patients, I am the owner of my videography business, Road2cinema. You can also find me practicing my breakdance moves at LA fitness, cooking, playing violin at church, exploring the outdoors or traveling the world with my fiance. Out of all the things I love to do, I genuinely enjoy helping you get back to the activities you love.”
