A native of the Chicagoland suburbs, Peter initially pursued a career in music therapy, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Harp Performance from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He later transitioned to physical therapy, receiving his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago in 2020. Peter then moved to the Atlanta area with his wife, who completed a fellowship at Emory University Hospital.
Peter is a dedicated physical therapist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), having completed a fellowship program through the American Academy of Manipulative Therapy (AAMT) in 2024. He is also a Movement Links Specialist (MLS) and holds a post-doctoral diploma in Osteopractic Physical Therapy, along with certifications in Spinal Manipulation Therapy (cert-SMT) and Dry Needling (cert-DN). Peter is committed to continuous learning and professional growth, constantly seeking new knowledge and techniques to enhance his practice and better serve his patients.
His professional interests include the treatment and prevention of orthopedic injuries, pre- and post-operative management, and sports injuries. Known for his evidence-based approach and compassionate, holistic care, Peter is dedicated to providing the best outcomes for his patients. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys playing tennis, table tennis, and volleyball, as well as long-distance running and playing the violin and harp. Recently, Peter has been enjoying time with his wife exploring Atlanta while preparing for their growing family.
