Miriam is a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) with extensive experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, injury prevention, and movement optimization. She is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centered care to enhance mobility, function, and overall quality of life.
Miriam earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Shenandoah University and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Miriam is a Clinical Adjunct Instructor at Mercer University Department of Physical Therapy teaching management of musculoskeletal injuries, clinical examination and interventions as well as a service learning class.
With a strong background in orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, Miriam specializes in diagnosing and treating movement dysfunctions using advanced manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and movement analysis. She has worked with a diverse patient population, from post-surgical recovery to athletic performance enhancement, helping individuals regain confidence in their movement and return to their daily activities.
Beyond clinical practice, Miriam is passionate about patient education, mentoring aspiring physical therapists, and advocating for movement health. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and exploring Atlanta.
